Adrian Turpin has a wealth of experience as a Lighting Designer and TV Lighting Director. He is also an occasional Director of Photography for which he is able to utilise his lighting experience along with his experience as a commercial photographer and lighting cameraman.
We own a WholeHog 4 lighting desk and a WholeHog 4 Nano both available to hire. The Nano is great as a backup system and also useful for programming from a second position such as the studio floor or theatre stalls.
We use Capture software which is a real time, 3D fully rendered WYSIWYG visualisation system for pre-programming and visualising how set and lighting design will look prior to set building and prior to using valuable studio time.
Adrian is available as a Lighting Director, Lighting Designer, BBC Lighting Vision Supervisor or Lighting Console Operator and as a Moving Light Programmer. He has worked extensively in Glasgow and Manchester particularly at the BBC studios at Pacific Quay and Dock 10. He also works as a Vision Supervisor or Vision Operator looking after the real time critical colour matching operation of a multi camera TV production.
